hopefully this sheds some light on why the story is so chopped and screwed.

kinda disappointed overall about this game, was really hoping for more. i think the Activision contract was the worst thing Bungie could have done because now they are at Acti's mercy. looks like the same thing happened with this as BF4... parent company knew title was incomplete and pushes launch anyway. seems to be the norm. this is the kind of stuff that makes me want to stop playing.

That just pissed me of reading that. I would have much rather waited another year! For a great game!!! Sure it is a bummer but this is a perfect example of a game not being ready.
It came from some test developer what more do you want??
There is a sickness starting with games. Bf4 and destiny caught it and numerous others but that's just to name a few.

By having such a large dev team destiny couldn't develop itself. It had no clear vision that was liked by the majority. It tore the game apart and the team. It makes it ironic that it advertised being the most funded game in history. But it just goes to show you that money can't do everything...
Time is more valuable than money when it comes to these things.

Destiny, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4 and Ghosts all huge titles and all huge flops and false promises. At least they fixed bf4. I think a lot of it has to do with dumbing the game down for casuals and kids especially when it comes out with that T rating. Developers noticed that you can water a game down and still make bank after watching CoD do it for so long and still sell tons of units every year.

Well I'm still hopeful the game has long playability . I really like it and would hate for it to just fizzle out after a year .

i feel you man - i hope the community that supports the game can constructively give them enough feedback to make positive changes to the game and continue with support.

Game play was pretty solid, but the story sucked real bad! Longevity of this game seems solid, but will people really remember it 3, 5 years later?

Again. ..being able to patch n update games is the reason we get half assed games. ... then we don't care and buy the games even though a select few tell us ahead of time that the games are filled with bugs and are not complete. ..yet because everyone else is stupid enough to buy it we want to do the same just to say "oh yeah I have the game too !!"....

not so much bugs just empty promises. every dev has been guilty the last year.

So bf4 n ghosts didn't n still don't have bugs?...the empty promises is the biggest problem though
