    Destiny Patches And Hot Fixes !!


    We can use this thread to post the patches and hot fixes . So with that said here is the new one for 10/14/14

    Summary
    The most recent hotfix (1.0.2.2) for Destiny goes live on October 14th. This hotfix includes a number of changes to weapon balance across archetypes (e.g., lowering Auto Rifle effectiveness and increasing Scout Rifle damage output), specific weapons (Vex Mythoclast and Pocket Infinity) and includes a number of fixes to issues with the Templar encounter in the Vault of Glass.

    We're still working on a larger update which will address under-performing Exotics and overall class balance.

    General
    Fixed a bug where the Valkyrie-O5X Ship was the same as the Aurora Lance

    Classes
    Titan
    Unbreakable: Fixed an issue with the perk granting more agility than intended
    Warlock
    Brimstone: Perk can now activate if player is airborne

    Weapons
    General
    Fixed some issues related to quick weapon swapping
    Auto Rifles
    Base Damage decreased by 2%
    Reduced Precision Damage multiplier from 1.50 -> 1.25 (head shot bonus)
    Stability decreased by 4% - 17% (driven by stat value)
    Hand Cannons
    In-air accuracy now increased
    Scout Rifles
    Base damage increased by 6%
    Damage vs. Combatants increased by 6% - 25% (based on tier)
    Improved target acquisition, plus additional recoil tuning.
    Shotguns
    Decreased base damage at maximum range (falloff) by 20%
    Shot Package Perk now has a slightly wider cone of fire
    The Rangefinder and Shot Package perks are now mutually exclusive
    Exotic Weapons
    Vex Mythoclast
    Base Damage decreased by 34%
    Increased Precision Damage multiplier from 1.25 -> 1.50 (headshot bonus)
    Pocket Infinity
    Enhanced Battery Perk has now been replaced with the Speed Reload Perk
    Perks
    Metal Detector: Fixed a bug that prevents this perk from actually providing additional ammo
    Lightweight: Fixed a bug that allowed additional agility to apply even when a weapon was stowed

    Activities
    Strikes
    Engram rewards from strikes now appear in the post-game Activity Summary
    Raid - Vault of Glass
    Templar Encounter
    Kill volume added to sniper platforms to prevent players from sitting on top of them
    Relic is now removed and respawned if the holder leaves the playable area

    Destinations
    The Fallen have also retreated from their hold over the Rocket Yard to discuss a new takeover plan

    Auto Rifles

    Meh, not too bad

    Hand Cannons
    In-air accuracy now increased

    Much needed. Shooting the HC while in the air had become pointless. I knew my aim wasn't so bad that I would ALWAYS miss.

    Scout Rifles
    Base damage increased by 6%

    Can't hurt ... Scout rifles have been the worst primary.

    Exotic Weapons
    Vex Mythoclast
    Base Damage decreased by 34%

    Wow, this weapon must have been hella overpowered.

    Raid - Vault of Glass
    Templar Encounter
    Kill volume added to sniper platforms to prevent players from sitting on top of them
    Relic is now removed and respawned if the holder leaves the playable area

    Have never beaten the Templar the "normal" way because the groups I've been in have always used the platform method. Need training.

    Destinations
    The Fallen have also retreated from their hold over the Rocket Yard to discuss a new takeover plan

    Another farming fix? ... doesn't matter ... I've already seen people move to the starter area (The Steppes) farming the steps that the Fallen go up. People will always find something to farm, even though it honestly doesn't make XP or engram accumulation much quicker. Seriously ... if you are trying to get to level 20, do the story missions and bounties ... if you are looking for armor with light, play crucible, or play vanguard strikes which have multiple benefits (VG marks, VG rep, engram drops, better XP than farming, and not boring as hell).

    Thanks for the advice and information guys.

    It's good to hear that crucible gets you armor with light because I need that right now and I am taking a liking to Control.

    Auto rifle is my goto so hopefully it doesn't mess with my zen thing too much.

    I heard today. They are buffing atheon. His teleport, sending people through portals will be random. You won't know who is going to be teleported.

    That means everyone will have to get familiar with all parts of that fight. Good stuff in my opinion.

    yea it gives everyone a chance to learn something new and be in more of the fight. Good move to whoever wants to do that lol. me personally that gets aggravating way to easily for me so i stay away from it lol.

    This update makes Destiny a more stable experience for all players. We’re also changing the player experience in the Raid to ensure that the activity provides an endgame challenge that meets project goals for the intended level of difficulty.

    General
    Fixed an issue in which multiple errors reported with Zebra error codes
    Errors previously reporting as Zebra will now display as their own separate codes
    Fixed a rare issue related to being Kicked To Login repeatedly
    Fixed a rare issue that resulted in a Kick To Orbit reported with the Cockatoo error code

    Servers
    Fixed an issue where some players would occasionally be erroneously kicked at the beginning of an activity due to a server error
    Increased protection against account corruption

    Raid
    Fixed an issue where Atheon was not choosing random targets for teleport through the timestream during the final encounter on the Vault of Glass
    Fixed an exploit where Atheon could be forced off his platform

    More updates are to follow as we continue to support Destiny. Future enhancements being worked on include Exotic Weapon tuning, new features for voice communication between matchmade teammates, and the ability to hold more Bounties in your pocket at any time.

    So, it's going to take random people now? Not just the farthest away people? Gotta get people trained on multiple roles now.

    I never cared for knocking him off the platform ... actually running that part with a solid team was never difficult (maybe on hardcore b/c ppl weren't high enough level).

    ... and the ability to hold more Bounties in your pocket at any time

    We're going to have to come up with a strategy for it ... as in, how do you quickly determine who is doing what, especially for the teleported team. Or do we adjust how we play it so that it's easier to follow under these new rules.

    Maybe you follow this scheme ....

    Teleported Team:
    If you are comfortable with the relic, grab it
    Anyone who doesn't get the relic (the other two) ... super the middle then immediately shoot that first oracle (looking backwards)
    Relic holder will clean up any enemy left after the supers (immediately after the supers)

    Non-teleported Team:
    People will be scattered but it should be easy ... farthest right person goes right, farthest left goes left, middle goes to Desert/Jungle callout. Or everyone goes to the callout portal and the portal opener focuses on shooting the Supplicants (Harpies) at the other portal.
