CAG 2 Full Straight Years At #1 On Top100

As most of you know by now, on October 31st CAG will have been voted #1 on top100clans.com for 2 straight years something that no other clan on top100clans has ever done before.

Throughout the years since we joined top100, we have developed some good relationships and some very bad ones with other clans. Most of our recruits "do" come from top100 so it is a pretty valuable resource for us.

This might be the last month that we even use top100 though, while it has helped us out quite a bit it has also hurt us as well. Most of the recruits that "do" come via top100 are players who most of us consider "clan hoppers" and are not very loyal. They apply to join a clan and the minute they see something they don't like instead of being mature about it they talk shit or blast you on top100 for everyone to see.

I would like everyone's input on this, should we continue to stay on top100 or should we cut ties with the site?

Regardless of what we decide to do, being voted #1 for 2 straight years is a pretty awesome thing to do and while other clans who are on top100 say that it means nothing we all know it must mean something for them to be bitching about us being at #1 for this long ....

So thank you all who have voted for us every single day to keep us at #1, this is not an easy thing to do and if it was there would be other clans who would be right there with us every single month and we always blow the next clan out of the water in votes! .... WAY TO KICK ASS CAG !!!!!

Idk if leaving top 100 is a good idea. When I found you guys I googled clans and I remember seeing CAG and top 100 and it was intriguing. But ultimately I found your homepage and that's what got me to join.
But congratulations on two years!

Two years is awesome, chief! I see both sides of the fence here. There are a lot of clan hoppers, but is that gonna change when we are off top100. It is not as if the loyalists are going to have a radar going off and flocking in by the 100s. I feel like yes there are alot of hoppers, and sadly its the way of the world. And then the rest of the haters. Haters gonna hate what they cannot achieve. People are gonna blast us. But all we have to do is maintain respect outwards and it makes them look like the immature little girls they are. Sometimes is hard and there will always be someone trying to knock us off, but like I said Haters are gonna hate. When I saw top clan for more than a year I wanted to see whats up, and I loved it. So, yeah there are clan hoppers and prolly more so then people who stay around, but its a numbers game. When I used to recruit for other groups, I always knew/know that of the 100 messages I send out tonight I may find 20 people that answer. And then 10 of them will say dumb shit, and 10 of them will hear me, maybe 5 will join up. And IF I get really lucky 1 of them will be worth my time, while the others wash out. Isn't that what we are looking for the 1 in a 100.

Well while I was running Inviictus we had a question on our app asking where they seen us from what's the average of members recruitment and top 100?

Way back when I first join CAG, I found you via T100. But I didn't instantly pick CAG. I went through about 25 different clans. Read all I could, contacted about 5 clans at the end of it. CAG was the first to respond with genuine interest in seeing if I could actually help them out and not just be another name on a list.

It all just took off from there. I made awesome friends, had some EPIC games. Heard Cheech rage, and saw Patron be the sneaky ninja that he is.

Being in the T100, has without a doubt brought us some very good people, but of course as Merz said it brought us a SHIT load of "hoppers". But they never last.

Cheech, this is your baby. I'll stand by what you decide in the end. If you need help with something, do not hesitate to ask man. If I can help I will do all I can.

Whatever your little heart desires cheechy!I joined via top 100, as being voted #1 is prestigious, but we can't stop clan hoppers. We have the recruit system for a reason, and I think we should just keep the easy access open to new recruits. No point shutting off the tap if the water is just going to keep on flowing.
