X1: Who Wants To Attempt the Nightfall Strike With Me Tonight?

looking for some CAG buddies to help me out on the nightfall strike about an hour from now. 9:30 PM PST (westcoast time)

Man ... the nightfall is tough ... tried it with a decent group (lvl 28 self-reviving sunsinger, 27 defender titan, 27 invisibility hunter) once but didn't finish it, didn't feel like we could finish it. The loss of checkpoints is a pain but the biggest problem IMO is the Epic modifier. I think it was the Phogoth strike and the room of 3 waves was murdering us with arc-shielded knights and solar-shielded wizards. We did manage to finally advance but the adds in Phogoths room were too much with little cover.

In general, the game seems to be best played by cautious players. People who are good at taking themselves out of danger at the right time in order to survive. The nightfall strike seems to personify this. General tip for everyone: if you want to do the hardest content this game offers, learn to be a survivor ... know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to run.

Does anyone know which strike is the Nightfall for this week?

I am down for the weekly strike mission for the new one this evening....if you are down or anyone else for that matter. I am trying to get my armor up and maybe some good weapons so I can give that Raid another go. I would love to get the ach for doing with 6 clan members.....

I did not see you on when I got on last night, BHI.

MoB Corleone and DecimalTen did the Weekly on Super Hard. It was just that. Great time though totally worth the 9 strange coins. I am all ready for XuR again. I think you need what 24 for a weapon though? In that case I will have to wait, unless I can gather up 11 more.

At this point, that is what is holding me back on these strike and raid missions, the amount of damage I am doing is not great with my rare pulse rifle.

The weapons have been different prices .. the cheapest one was 17 (I think). 23 might be on the higher side.
