Hola Amigos!
I have always been into techno type music since the first time I heard Sandstorm by Darude and a mix of several other songs, till I was reborn in Deadmau5's Random Album Title album, and it just spiraled from there. When I was in grade school and early in high school, a few of my closer friends were all about heavy rock music that started as punk and ended up being some very heavy sounds. But it was always about making some great music. And I have always wanted to do that, but I am not a very good guitar player. I try but I get discouraged, and I have been at it since I was in the 7th grade. One thing, I have always thought about since that winter evening hearing sandstorm the first time, is I want to make that. The possibilities are endless, and you can make it really personal in a track that people can enjoy on a global scale. In the past few months, I have been very minimally gaining up the round to move forward with this. And I am at the point, of moving forward. A few months ago, I purchased some software on Steam when it was on sale for like $10. Music Creator 6 Touch. I am still learning to use it. But its a start.
I know MoB Corleone is into the heavy scene and actively making tunes for that, but is there anyone in the electronica scene, house, D&B, whatever.....anyone making this flavor of tune?
What I am seeking is real information about equipment, education, anything really....I find stuff on the internet, and I do not know whats real and whats just some washed out opinions. So aside from someone telling me to Google it, which I have...anyone have any other advice?
