Destiny Review

In my opinion destiny is a fantastic game based on the graphics all the stuff you can do with a party and how you can customize your character. Now that being said I think the game is only fun if you play with a group of people if you play alone and with no one else the game is very boring and dry. The story is good but not that great to be able to play solo. This is just my opinion nothing else. I would love to hear from all the others that play this game and hear your opinions on this topic and what is your overal thinking of the game.

Well my review would be why would Bungie use a network or whatever that college internet gets blocked..I haven't been able to get out of the main menu screen so I'm upset and pissed. But I get a refund so I'm not that mad. Hopefully that the patch that people say is on Monday is true. #centipede

I played the beta and got bored after 2-3 days playing, that was probably down to the fact I was playing solo, but still, it didn't meet expectations

I'm loving it so far. I can see the point about playing alone. There are a few things like finding all the dead ghosts and gold chests that can keep you busy by yourself. You can also play some crucible by yourself but the strength is definitely in the social aspect of the game.

The graphics are great, the sound is great. Character development through customization weapons / armour is great. I think it takes a few things from other games i liked like Halo, Diablo, Dragon Age, Titanfall, even COD.

I think the story could be better. It does seem to get muddled with everything that is happening around each map. It lacks direction i feel.

I could be just in the honeymoon phase but i'm just enjoying it quite a bit.

Good post man. I could not agree with you more about the game. I think i am going to wait for a bigger audience to get on the xbox one.

Game is pretty fun and addicting. Its like a mix of Borderlands weapon system, Halo gameplay, and MMO esque character progression. However as you said single player doesn't do the game justice, and without some friends it can be very challenging to progress after a certain point. The loot drops can drive you bat shit as well. Out of 20-25 legendary engrams 3 of them were actually legendary. 2 of which are armor for a class I haven't used yet. I wish they would have included some form of player trading. Also not sure if anyone else is getting this problem but when I am in orbit and open the Xbox Guide the guide will freeze and takes 15-20 minutes to fix itself. The game stays fine jst the guide wont let you do anything.

I've played the whole campaign by myself and I loved it had some scary parts and Adrenaline parts as well. The game will be built more and more it's ever expanding, this will be a game that never stops giving the best stuff is yet to come out. Must we not for get first dlc drops December that's faster than any other game has put out their first expansion. THIS IS BUNGIE. The makers of halo and they also are what made Xbox what it is today. This game will change gaming I assure you that. Yes, it does need work but don't all games when they come out you don't get all the glitches and stuff in the beta. I played the beta. I knew this was a block buster game. 1.4 million in just the beta. Destiny has started a trend in game development1 Everyone wants to be part of a game development. COD is going to cash in on this and I would be willing to bet games after this will do the same. I believe destiny has what it takes to make it as a MMO without a doubt. So enjoy the ride it will be fun!
