I was wondering how to get a new military ID and a copy of my DD214...Is this something the VA handles or can I go somewhere else and get it done? Honestly I hate the VA..they suck ass and would rather not deal with them lol

I just got my new VA ID in the mail my Man, I had to go to the VA Hospital and get all that shit there ...then took my mug shot and I got my ID that day ... the new IDs are pretty cool looking ....

U should be able to go to any base and get one.

Any base should let you get it. Just go to the DEER's and ID Card section on base and they will square you away.

Hurdle the Dead.
You don't have to drive that far. Stop at your local National Guard post and you can also get an ID. You can also go to your local American Legion and see the Adjutant or a Service Officer to get a request DD214 form out for your DD214.
