Due to the fact the the only skills i have in bf4 are reviving and sniping ill share some insight with you in our journey to uncovering the truth about reviving.
To began, there are two ways you can approach the assault class: Kill then revive or revive then kill. I always choose revive then kill because it helps your team win, more xp, and its easier.
1. I mean, your team will never fall back if they keep getting revived; they can only push forward.
2. The other day i managed 24k points with about 20 kills. Next best player had 11k with many more kills.
3. Its easier to charge your defibs and aim at the dead body than to aim at an alive body thats shooting back. Same xp also.
Guide:
First off, you will get the most xp with defibs and medic pack.
You must have the field upgrade combat medic. This will help getting quicker revives and with more healing points.
The most important is to charge up your defibs. It is vital unless if they are running outta time. Instant revives will take one bullet to die while charged up revives take 3+. It also makes me mad when someone takes my revive by insta reviving them when i was charging up. furious, not mad.
I am the player who would run across the map if it means i would get a revive. After a while on locker or metro, you will figure out the exact time you have to revive someone.
Another point is to stay behind your team. I go out in the open to get revives and that is what causes my deaths. Half the time i watch my teamates spray their lmgs in a doorway, and I just sit there with the defibs out ready to revive.
