    Planning New PC Build

Looking for peoples opinion on desktop PC preference. Had a gaming laptop before but looking for more power. Pcs are never cheap so I'm in the $ 1200.00 price range.

its a little cheaper to go pure gaming as you don't need as much RAM but for gaming just try to get 8 GB RAM, 4 core processor over 3 GHz, if you can get a normal HD and a Solid State HD as well - SSD's load games faster with shorter loading screens so just save your games to the SSD and put everything else on the other HD - 500-600 Watt Power Supply depending on the card. as far as GPU Sapphire's 290 offers the most bang for your buck.

Starting with a gaming powerhouse, editing will come far after depending on the PC players we have or the content we can offer.

    what do they make?

for editing you just need more ram but most motherboards have 4 slots for RAM, some have more i think.
