Internet Speed Help

I dont know what the hell I can do to improve this. I know getting a better internet is the obvious answer but I'm poor as fuck so that's out of the question. (for the moment)

My NAT bounces from Moderate to Open, and is overly protected but that's not by my choice and I dont have the ability to change it seeing as the computer dick that set it up put it under password protection and has vanished off the face of the earth.


Anything you guys know that can help me would be GREATLY appreciated.

not much you can do to improve it I dont think unless you upgrade your package if you can but best advice is to get away from DSL and get a cable based internet like Time Warner or some one like that

You should be able to hard-reset router-modem and reclaim your home settings, and set your own password. Google up the make and model and a user handbook, should get you slightly more shiny.

You could purchase a better a router as well. If your using the one they provide it isn't always the best.

In my opinion . And I'm Not sure what providers you have out there . But At&t was always a issue for me .
I had there highest enternet package at onw time and I still never got the speed I paid for .

Like Gypsy Saud if you can get a cable base internet . Then try doing that .
