Keeping Comms Clear In-Game

So just some observations from games where we had a nice full party going. We're looking at 6-8 guys in the same game who are ready to give call outs however, when there are players raging it makes the party a bit of a cluster fuck. Now I'm not saying we should avoid raging cuz lord knows Bf4 can get at the best of us, but we need to start making sure we mute ourselves or unplug the mic. This way we can vent nd the others in the party can focus more on the game nd important call outs. This isn't targeted at anyone in particular just something that can use a lil polishing overall.

99.9% of the raging was coming from a respected CAG member and we was playing with recruits and all this was doing was discouraging them, and making them feel uncomfortable.

Yea you're spot on there bud, doesn't do squad/team moral any favors. Im sure there are plenty of factors that can lead to one raging but keeping your squad mates clear of it should be a higher priority.

When shit hits the fan it only makes things more stressful when trying to get some bearing on the situation at hand nd how to address it. If I were to make a suggestion i'd say, as I did before, muting ones self and two saying the phrase "clear comms" when it becomes a cluster fuck. If we can implement the clear comms thing I feel it may help a bit. It was a tactic used back when I was rolling with this group called Exile on DayZ. Just a suggestion tho

RAZ...this is the very reason I wanted to do the thing I was talking about with you guys.

I too agree...it must be toned down...and ranking CAG members should try and encourage civility.

As has been said...we all wanna have fun and yes, shit gets crazy and people rage. But remember your squad and try not to let it get to you.

I 100% agree. I do mute my mic when I start to rage for this exact reason. And out of respect cause I swear worse the a sailor.


In game comms should be for in game only. Warnings, info, etc. I don't want to here your music blasting over the fucking mic when I'm trying to tell you where the damn enemy are coming from.

When we are in game, it should be kept to information for your team only. When the game is over ya'll can bullshit and talk about what ever you want. But when the game starts, just cut the shit and concentrate on the matter at hand, not your fucking music, youtube, etc.

I have lost count how many times my squads been wiped because we are distracted by bullshit that shouldn't be blasting over the mics thus making it impossible for information and warnings to be heard.

But as a warning this shit pisses me off to no end. All who read this have been warned. I'm not gonna play nice anymore when it comes this this shit.

Lol but no seriously I agree with you guys. I do it too. hell I'll go on rantZ how the game should fix this problem and how RGO impacts should be removed but I try to mute my mic when I rage now.

Not on the BF side, but I agree with this. The odd "that s.o.b. got me" or "fuuuuuck" should be fine. There's no helping it in a competitive and/or intense environment. But full blown rants, especially in front of recruits, is a huge no-no. Remember, there's no "fuck you you fucking cunt fuckface Imma kill you kill you dead until your fucking dead you fuck" in "team".
