for about 700 bucks (XB1 w/ Kinect new, 1 year gold, 2 game plus tax-ish) you can buy and build your own PC to run at 1080x1920 Native and play a game like BF4 over 65-70 FPS. the thing to remember is you can always upgrade for about the price of a few new console games depending on the part. for those who like to sit back and play on the big screen with a controller you can still do that too.

this is for educational purposes, for those who don't know or for anyone who thinks "boy i wouldn't mind having a PC to play on but man it's just too expensive".

there are also incredible deals that are always available on Steam. beyond the dirt cheap Summer and Winter (Stick of Truth for 25 bucks one day - good luck getting it for less than 50 bucks at Gamestop) sales they'll have for instance a Rockstar Sale where every title by Rockstar is dirt cheap. there are a handful of sites that will offer deals on brand new games as well where you'll pay maybe 47-54 instead of 63-65 (state depending) and you also have no yearly membership to play online fee.

I can attest to this too brother...I built a couple gaming rigs for under £600. First time I played Half Life 2 on top settings...simply blown away.

Don't have the room for em these days...but you're right. Can definitely get a good rig for the price of a One and some games.

Me and my fiancee have thought about changing to PC, for awhile, just hard because I'm so dedicated to xbox, but my online gaming began on PC playing diablo

I've tried some PC games before and it's honestly not my thing. Playing CoD on PC was a terrible experience because each one of the many keys had a different thing and I forgot which was which XD I'm just gunna stick to XBOX

I "get" that it's smarter to have a good gaming rig, but I don't think I'd ever wanna go back to PC-gaming again. Steam aside, which is great all by itself, I feel that even though consoles are weaker, it's still the superior platform for me. My most important "feature" for gaming nowadays is simplicity, which I don't think PC gaming has a shot against consoles at.

Plus, same as with Randuken and Archangel, without the ONE and Titanfall specifically, I wouldn't have met any of you guys, and just the thought of that makes me a sad little panda.
