Tablet commander is fun.

The beta is pretty well done, considering its a beta, they put alot in the could've left out.

They have teasers for level 20 gear, and you can even acquire some of the above level gear, supposedly it will carry over if left on your character, so you don't have to re work through the things you've already done.

Even at level cap you can still continue to advance weapon upgrades and char abilities, and save money to buy the really expensive stuff. The random world events remind me of ARMA 3 online.

The pvp so far is unbalanced with poor spawns and lots of confusion, but plays like domination on any other platform. And that's the only mode we have unlocked.

Play Saturday at 2 pm EST I think, and bungie is rewarding scale test members with added bonuses in full game.
Pondered upon a rainy plateau, with a coal forge, and many dragon.

I'm sitting in my office...looking longingly at the outside...collating data for the utility regulator...while my wife sends me pictures of her and the kids enjoying the sunshine in a paddling pool.

I'm not sure this is fair.

Plus I'm just day dreaming the day away thinking about the destiny beta!

I'm enjoying the beta so far...but it does feel as though we visit the same place on Earth, only with a different colour palette. I love the loot thing...it feels like Borderlands did when you stumble across that awesome weapon blueprint or armour peice. I've collected some random scraps of metal too which I don't know what to do with.

I've also reactivated dead Ghosts...which I stumble upon by chance. I really hope the 'explorer' type is rewarded...look around the landscape and find cool stuff.

So, enjoyable thus far. But party chat doesn't work, it needs to be game chat from the party and in the same Fireteam.

Gonna go eat lunch now before I go to a bullshit meeting about inconsequential nonsense and more bullshit.

I don't play until my wife goes to bed.
Put the kids to bed, spend quality time with the missus, game on when she's down. Only another seven hours to go lol.

I hate the PvP on Destiny! I need Halo! However the co-op on Destiny is the reason I am going to get it.

I'm going to go into it with an open mind but i think I'll be the same way.
Never been a huge multiplayer for halo. The only redeeming factor for pvp in destiny that I have seen (now this is just me spitballing) is that you can bring stuff you found from pve to pvp. Which I don't even know if it's true but if I can show off with OP Gear then I will. But I can see this concept being a problem in the future.

Mind you, the drops and loots isn't nearly as crazy as Borderlands.

Visiting some of the faction vendors in the tower, they have an option to sell some of the generic stuff (like whatever comes out of that plant). Looks like you need so much of it before they buy it and my guess is that you'll get reputation with that faction and maybe some glimmer. You can't buy faction specific weapons/emblems without some level of reputation with them (some of the general missions/bounties are for factions and earn you faction rep).

Oh cool...I have quite a bit of that spinmetal...just kind of found it randomly in various places. Who did you trade it with at the tower?
