For the xbox one. Yes you have to get 3rd party headsets to work. Like Turtle beaches. Hope it was in enough time.

the one i got with my Polk's works fine. little confusing at times though because your turn the game and chat volume up with the left side icons and the volume control is a master volume control. finding the right balance between game and chat volume is tough for me but beyond that it works fine.

I noticed it did the game audio through it too, that was neat, and unexpected. I'll be using it with a set of skullcandy slyrs

I use one for my Trittons but since the last pad update it doesn't do what it did before.

I used to be able to work the game audio and chat independently but now I have to balance the two. Really struggling to make it work properly and I'm a pain in the ass in game cos I can't get my set up right lol.

But it does work at least.
