Fallout New Vegas Vs Fallout 3

There have been a lot of very exciting games announced over the last little while. Some of my most anticipated include The Division, The Witcher 3, and of course BF Hardline.

However every bone in my body yearns for a Fallout 4 announcement!

So as we wait. I'd like to ask what you guys liked and didn't like about the last two Fallout iterations.

I very much encourage many details as I have extensively played both. What would you like to see return? What didn't work? How can they up the anti?

being able to aim THROUGH the iron sights would be very nice, and also start up a type of line of sight kinda detection, i really liked FALLOUT 3's leveling system but i also loved FALLOUT NV's survival mode, my favorite outta the two is 3 though, 4 seems just so fast and small, not much to do and very little to collect, 3 was amazing, nice sized map always somewhere to explore and you could also find some more things to do. they could also put as much scenery, map, storyline and character depth into it like they do the elder scrolls, and they could also never help create a game like dishonored again, it wasnt a bethesda product and made me very upset towards them, they need to stick to free world RPGs. FALLOUT 4 could save them from the ESO fail(still pre-ordered it the day skyrim came out) so now we gotta pay to bills just to play on a map of X amount of other players so hopefully somthing comes outta their rears to save them from that, FALLOUT 4 could and i mean COULD save them from the ESO fail, im anxious to see what they do, im a HUGE bethesda fan

I think Fallout3 story just killed. New Vegas was eh. NV did improve in some areas like game play though. If Fallout 4 had movements similar to a FPS and a story as well done as Fallout 3 it would be so great! I'm still gonna get it though.

ESO didn't fail man, there is a still a pretty rabid, but smaller, fan base supporting and playing that game. the nice part is there are no little kids playing it because its not F2P so paying a sub fee doesn't bother me... that and ZoS made TESO, not Bethesda. they just published it.

I agree New Vegas felt very fast and I thought the branching story lines were to much. I had to create 5 players to play them all!

Only reason I say it failed is cause of the wait time for console and the double payment, I played the beta on the PC and it looks like it'll be amazing seems kinda simpler versus Morrowind(best character building IMO), I also apologize for sayin Bethesda made it cause I should better by now, just ESO upsets me because its so outta my reach when I'm sure every person who has played the series wants some type of online, I also want another game with the Bethesda name on it to destroy

its cool man you don't have to apologize. on one hand it does suck for people who will only be playing on console but the upside, and its huge, means all the bugs we had to put up with (and there were a fair amount) SHOULD be fixed and the console version should be more refined with less problems. also Microsoft has a series of security passes that ANYTHING (patches, DLC, game downloads) has to pass before they put it up on the marketplace so i think that comes into consideration when they decided to push the launch back.

All the fallout games have held my attention span for way, way longer than they should've. Its one of the few games where the DLC always is worth getting, always.

I'd like to see more connections between main story and dlc stories, like NV did, but keep the deep story like 3 had. The side missions being connected and quirky were great! Love the karma system, and the outrageous weapons.

NV reality mode was fantastic! Have to eat, sleep, and drink. And the funny moments perk "Crazed wasteland" or whatever, was awesome! I'll always remember finding Indiana Jones' skeleton and hat in a fridge...

That being said... FALLOUT FOUR MUST HAPPEN
