Discuss the Battlefield 4 Regiment of CAG's Battlefield Brigade here
Chaps, DLC should be with us today. That combined with my wife being out this evening...I will be getting on the battlefield.
This will probably be around 2000hrs GMT this evening, if not before...depends on the kids.
If there are any CAG around...it would be good to shoot some fools.

Well...I really don't like battlelog on BF4 for the One...it doesn't tell me anything useful. Doesn't tell me who's online...then I see people playing bf4 but I can't join them. It's BS.
Then to top it off...it show me CAG Zero...not CAG Zero anymore and rocking a different clan tag...is he not CAG anymore? Have I missed something?
The new DLC is okay...the market map is great for tight alleyways and cqc. But the dlc look and feel...I'll reserve judgement.
Oh and I do not like how the party system works on the One.

Okay...thanks to Kujeaux and HG867 for games last night (this morning).
Apologies for being a pain with my headset...I think I'll just get one specifically for the One.
Four hours sleep and now at work. Think I'll slope off for a nap in a bit.
Edit/ it was probably because I was tired...but Chain Link really baffled me!

Chainlink might not be the best way to judge the DLC. It's an interesting mode that has a Domination feel to it but with a slightly bigger scale to it (more people, more area). The ability to spawn on any objective that you own is probably not the right answer ... I like the versatility of it, but this means that you spawn and get shot in the back A LOT because you typically spawn at an objective at the end of your chain right next to baddies. It was fairly chaotic. I would like to see it more like Domination where you can only spawn on your squad (or the deployment) emphasizing squad survival.
Rush seemed mostly the same as the rest of BF4, a bit broken. Some M-COMs seemed fairly easy while some are hella hard.
I haven't tried Conquest or Domination/TDM on these yet.
I only unlocked the MPX and Ballistic Shield so far, with only scant attempts to try them out, so no assessment yet. The MPX shoots a little slower than the best PDWs but I remember reading that the damage was higher. Didn't get into any action when I had the Shield.

chainlink to me is more of a linear fast-pased run and gun game. which i responded with sitting outside the highways as i called them and sniped. kinda explored a little too so i can get to know the maps better.
