Thanks guys. Sux this happened right before DT came out. I have full store warranty so I'm not worried. Worst part is I have to leave my system there for probably a week. We've been having some thunderstorms so I think that mighta cooked it.

If you don't wanna wait so long, get in touch with Microsoft directly. They will troubleshoot with you and either fix or replace the problem. If you have to send in the whole console/cord do advance exchange. They will put a hold on a card for the full price and charge 15 I think for shipping. You get a free game through this method. Charge comes off card when your defective box is recieved

No problem, just sharing my experience. Not sure what they'd say about a power supply though, they nixed me on controller/headset, had to order a brand new one. Even after preordering the dayone edition and shizz
