Hey guys post anything motivates you about the military here....

Been around the world twice, talked to everyone once, I’ve seen two whales ****, been to three world fairs, I even know a man in Thailand with a wooden cock. I’ve pushed more peter, more sweeter, and more completer than any other peter-pusher around. I’m a hard-bodied, hairy-chested, rootin, tootin, shooting, parachuting, demolition double cap crimping Frogman. There ain’t nothing I can’t do. No sky too high, no sea too rough, no muff too tough. Learned a lot of lessons in my life. Never shoot a large caliber man with a small caliber bullet. Drove a lot of trucks. Even those big motherfuckers that bend and go TSSHITT TSSHITT when you step on the brakes. Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards. I’m a lover, I’m a fighter, I’m a special bread. I’ll wine, dine, intertwine and then sneak out the back door when the refueling is done. If you’re feeling froggy, then you better jump because this US Army Solider has been there, done that and is going back for more. Cheers, boys.

My only military experience was in the Army Cadets - Sgt. Atkins - 12th Hove Royal Artillery. Then rebadged to Royal Engineers We were nick named the Wild Geese.

These were quite simply the best years of my younger life. Going out on exercise with my detachment was something I looked forward to.

Being called to 'stand to!' at 0300hrs in just my shorts and rifle...cold as hell but my squad behind me...awesome.

I don't miss sleeping with my rifle...it's not the best companion for that...but to have her there when shit hits the fan...nuff said.

It's where I drove my first land rover and four-tonner. It's where I got beasted for shooting a Bren (blanks) too close to somebody...it was just me and my signalman holding the rear...rushed up a hill and I burst fire.

Rat packs...boil in the bag chicken supreme...boiled sweets...biscuit brown (why did I like these?)...tinned fruit cake pudding...rat packs...good for bartering and chow.

Parasailing from helicopters with loaded rifles and a squad ready to rock. Awesome.

Spending the night under a sty on sentry duty. The throat mic that was not comfortable at all but loved it.

Setting up an ambush with the advance team and seeing the kill box light up.

I loved my time with the Cadets.

I was going to join the Army Air Corps off the back of my cadet record. I passed the aptitude test...the interview...selected for basic training...met a girl...stayed home...life took a different direction.

I miss the comradeship and the friends I made. I miss seeing hard nosed bullies have their attitude beasted out of them and turning into good men, reliable men.

I miss naafi time with my squad. I miss naafi time with my old Company.

Now I live my dreams thru battlefield. Sad I know...but I have a different life I set out to have...but I'm happy.

Bro living your dream thru battlefield isnt SAD. its still your dream no one can take that from your living it. My dream since I joined the Us Army was and still is To join the Us Special Forces will it happen shit I dont know but every living breath I have. will shot for that dream until i possible can not anymore

What motivates me about the military hmmm.... The fact that I am a huge WWII buff. The fact that 6 months after the worst day in American history we came back faster, bigger, badder, and stronger. I just watched the movie "Pearl Harbor" What really got to me was the line. "Nothing is stronger than a Volunteer's heart." We took the fight to them and showed them that we meant business and that we wouldn't stand for being pushed around and embarrased. This is why WE the United States of America. The best damn country in this god forsaken world are the only Superpower.
