With the one any one of us can stream. Gypsy streams almost everytime he plays from what I see so I think we can get that part down. Also a youtube Channel isn't a bad idea. Also for advertising it dosen't have to be just video's we can also get on other gaming sites and advertise. That's how I found several titanfall members. The sites allow recruiting as long as you read their rules and guidelines so I think if we get the streams going from other plays and games along with a CLAN youtube channel we'll be set. For the websites I think each game on each system should have a recruiter or 2 who go on sites and promote CAG and check the thread daily for replies maybe even more then once a day. I feel if we cover all those we'll be set to go. Lastly you can always send a mass mesage to recent players thats another I got a few titanfall members. It dosen't take to long type up the mesage and send it out to 30+ people. Sometimes you get a reply from someone who wants to join, you get a smartass reply or just nothing but thats how it goes. Nothing beats a failure but a try.

No doubt Homie, like I told you it's much easier on Ghost to recruit because let's face it not every likes to get their asses kicked. Titanfall is a different ball game. Just need some organization there and you can build from there. I've seen the companies start from scratch and grow shit happens you just gotta adapt.

As for being afraid to post because of others opinions. Been here 4 years and I could tell you I've seen the good, bad & the ugly. Just gotta tell these guys to embrace the forums as a big chat room. At times it's gonna be tough to learn the system. As I stated before if all they want to do is play then yea that's fine. Even if you post something informational you can always do a mass message on Xbox regarding the message.

Now for specific teams like Charlie Delta, then it has been enforced strictly because A. you want the members to be on the same page B. You want to know who your teammates are and that's where chemistry comes in C. The more topics about strategy practice etc on the forums the less time you need to explain yourself during the game.

While I agree with you on some things, others I do not ... The whole purpose of the Marksman's Badge is not for it to be hard or challenging for the recruits, it is to promote teamwork. If a recruit and the clan members work together this makes it a more enjoyable experience for both the recruit and the clan members involved ...

Some find these weapon badges difficult some don't at all, that is why during the 2 weeks that we give the recruits to complete the Marksman's challenge, we as clan members especially the fireteam and squad leaders need to work with them as much as possible, play with them as much as possible so that they are able to evaluate and help the recruits during their probation period.

It is the responsibility of every fireteam and squad leader to evaluate every recruit so that they can pass along all that information to the Platoon Sergeant who should then either recommend to his Platoon Commander whether or not the recruits have what it takes to become an official CAG Dogg.

Some Platoon Commanders do things differently and that is ok, but the way I would do it is how I mentioned above, have the firetam and squad leaders do the evaluation, then pass all that information to the platoon sergeant who will then make a decision on whether to recommend or not to his platoon commander.

I know you said you were spitballing but branding people with an i or c would be super hard to enforce and would probably just cause more problems than just posting on the forums.

A big reason why people don't post is because people are scared to. They feel as if there going to say something stupid and screw up and get yelled at especially newbies! How to address this problem? I couldn't tell ya but I think this is a big part of it.

I agree with you HG867, doing this would alienate them and probably make them feel unwanted which is something I am not going to allow to happen. We have already made it perfectly clear that if a player wants to move up in rank, they "MUST" be active on the forums, that is the only way they will move up past Private 1st Class.

I get it people can be shy or what ever people call it these days. But it comes down to maturity.

We have probably "THEE" only uncensored and most open forums of any clan out there right now. Everyone needs to know and understand that any fucking subject is allowed here on the forums as long as it is not directly insulting to anyone or any group.

I will always allow people to voice the opinions here on our forums as long as they do it respectfully and do not directly insult anyone.

If someone wants to talk about how fucked up the fucking Chinese are with their people or how stupid of a fucking President Obama is they may do so!

Maturity doesn't have much to do with it. Not everyone can be a social butterfly an just talk away and talk to anyone. You gotta have a person be a bridge to CAG as a whole. Someone to help ease them into it. And that job is on corporals to platoon sgts.

Unfortunately you are right Spartan, not everyone is social, but if they come on the forums and they see a well carried conversation between other clan members or guests and they see it is pretty mature, they are more likely to take part in it because it then becomes a fun discussion. If they see people acting like idiots in a thread, they are not going to want to take part because they might say something that "will" offend someone unintentionally ....

Yeah there's a bridge but you can't help someone cross that bridge if they don't want to step to it. I'm not saying push people or be ass holes.

Yeerp! and this is another area in which fireteam and squad leaders can be of great help to their unit's members...If we have fireteam and squad leaders who are not active on the forums , they need to be removed from those billets and replaced with active members who can help bridge this gap between recruits, members and the forums..simple as that...

That's fine, but some guys don't bullshit to much. You gotta be with them a while and then they will open up

I know I am only a recruit but I am trying hard to get skilled players in here and get ppl to buy into the team concept.

Cheech made me see the light and pushed my massive ego aside and now I'm all in with CAG so hopefully I can do the same with new ppl and some of my friends who are highly skilled but have an aggressive edge

yes sir... i have a question that i can't find the answer to.

it is probably extremely dumb but I noticed that some people (myself included even though i am a recruit) have badges and green bars under their rank in the clan (you have 2 gold a bronze and some green) (i have 2 bronze and some green) yet i notice some clan members with only bars and no badges....
what is that exactly?

That's your reputation. When you get reputation points or hell yeahs it adds to your points and will thus add to those bars and little badges.

Yep...exactly what Merz said. The green bits (from FHYS) all add up to make bronze, then silver then gold pips.


And don't worry.. I asked that very same question myself.
