They do make a good point in there about less wear coming from the use of the 9mm over the 40 and less felt recoil also . Lets face it Covi i think you will agree with me on this , that after the first shot the faster you can re- acquire the target and put more lead down range accurately is a good thing .

I am in no means a war vet. But I shoot ALL the time. I honestly prefer the .50 Cal but then again I am a bigger guy. I think I like it more due to the total devastation of your target. My favorite handgun however is the H&K .45 because it fits my paw perfectly and I am deadly accurate with it.
Maybe it's a "to each his own" type of thing. But this is my opinion.

That is very correct Big C! The Military has always instructed accuracy since 1776 and the better accuracy only means your target goes down fast and with precision. If you can use that accuracy with more rounds. Then game over.....
