What Era Would You Like In the Next COD?

All you COD fans please vote. I'm really interested if you like the current direction of COD(future settings), you miss the good ol' days of WW2 combat, would you like content in a present setting, or want to see some other past era(Vietnam, WW1, Revolutionary, etc).

I really don't care. WWII was so overdone. Now modern shooters are being over done and were gonna hit the future cod. Personally I could careless about the era I just want a good game that plays well. I'm talking maps,leveling up, weapon balancing. Something ghost did not.

I think that Treyarch should keep making new games, the storyline for zombies is good. We will see how sledgehammer does and judge that, and I think Infinity Ward should take COD4 and remaster it. No new stuff just better graphics and a couple custom class fixes.

I agree Stricken. I love the Zombies, but I'm not sure about Treyarch. Infinity Ward should definitely take on COD4.
I believe it is possibly time for some more futuristic COD, but there is still much more in the past. More TS missions in Cambodia possibly or WW1 stuff. Such as taking on a new Era of WOW. That was a good game.

yeah know i think something like a Korea setting would be pretty fuckin cool or maybe even Afghanistan when the Soviets invaded in the 80's? i don't think that's ever been done by a AAA Developer.

i'd like to see it done in the 80's era war against the then Soviet Union. it would be interesting to play as a then rebel, volunteer army fighting the second largest/technologically advanced army in the world guerilla style. it would also probably be the first time a huge franchise like CoD did a game where you WEREN'T the USA.

I would like to see a cod based more along the lines of what hardline is trying to do. I think cod hasn't really hit on the "war on drugs"
