So I got a tritton headset today and was wondering if I should have gone for the turtle beach recertified xp400s I was looking at instead? Any advice?

So I got a tritton headset today and was wondering if I should have gone for the turtle beach recertified xp400s I was looking at instead? Any advice?

never had a set of Tritton's before and only owned X12's and 32's. 12's were my favorite of any headset i've ever owned. individual volume control for chat, game volume and bass boost (which those things fuckin banged HARD with max boost/volume when listening to rap).
I had triton for 360 they were ok did the job. For half the price I would gwt them for xbone just not one decent headset vome out yet
Ok thanks. I think I've decided to take the tritons back and get the turtle beach ones. It's a better headset with more features for the amount of money.

Pffft...TBs = meh imo. Love my ax pros. Even adapted to the One they cook. I just don't like how the audio and chat is 'balanced' after the last pad update.

after owning both brands, personally preferred titans. Comfort is what i look for when i go for a headset. The turtle beachs would leave these huge rings around my ears that look like someone attacked me with a plunger. Also I thought the sound was a better quality with the tritton.
Well right now I have the tritton primer
I have never had trittons. I have had 2 pairs of X32s, both are awesome. After that, I found a sale @ best buy on Call of Duty Ear Force Delta's (MW3 premieres that were essentially XP500s) they were awesome for 2 years, till they slightly cracked. I took them back to best buy before my warranty expired and bought some Astro A40s. WAY TOO MANY WIRES!!!! Sound was alright but the wires were a dealbreaker. Took them back. Got a pair of Ear Force Phantoms (Ghosts headset). I have never had any real problems with TBs. And tbh, they are my preferred headset. I even have the PX21s for my PS3 and PC.
By the way, my avatar <----------------------------------- is an old pic of me wearing my TB X32s with not a lot else. heh.
I had the Trittons and took them back because they had a low buzzing sound when I plugged the mic in. Have had three Turtle beach headset and I've enjoyed them but the mic goes out eventually. Currently I'm liking my Gamescon Plantronics X95 though.

I had the same problem as Joe, buzzing and crackling, and the occasional radio station. A ferrite core clipped on didn't help either.
