Nothing to worry about here, if there was any suspicious activity US satellites would pick it all up. Our Air Force base here would also be on high alert with a lot of activity in the air, this is very routine from what I hear.

Also if the Russian's intentions were more than just routine fly overs up and down the coast, they would be escorted by their own fighter jets in case the US engaged them and shot them down for some reason.

yeah but tensions are high at the moment to if we have russian bombers getting this close to shore then we need to do something about it. NOT an act of war but simply push the boundary back away from the coast lines. This is just MY theory though feel free to correct it

Yeah I understand the tensions and all, but they are not breaking any International airspace laws at all ... The US would be stupid, foolish and ignorant to even say something publicly about this.

Now if they even entered the "ADIZ" then there would be some problems ... Like I said, this is routine and Russia is not the only Country to have their aircraft flying over or right outside our "ADIZ" and the International airspace ...
