Meet Naomi Kyle, IGN's host for its award-winning news show, The Daily Fix. Born in the small town of Ste-Agathe-Des-Monts, Quebec, Naomi grew up with two younger brothers and a strong inclination for the arts. Whether it was singing or performing mock TV shows in front of her parents, it seemed entertainment would no doubt be her future calling. Throughout her high school days, Naomi was never one of the popular kids, so she instead found herself playing lots of video games and indulging in sci-fi/fantasy movies in her spare time. Little did she know that this would lead her to a wonderful, future career.
Upon graduating from high school, she quickly moved to Montreal to study both music and cinema in college. After a year of being in the city, Next Canada -- one of the top modeling agencies in the world -- took her on and projected her career to new heights. She went on to land numerous high profile campaigns for companies such as Adidas, Guess, Virgin Mobile as well as a National TV ad for Joe Fresh.
At the age of 22, Naomi landed a role as Gameloft's podcast host. Learning the ropes of online broadcasting and gaining recognition from fans across the world, it wasn't too long for one of the biggest gaming and entertainment websites in the industry to take notice. In 2011, IGN Entertainment decided to fly her out to San Francisco, California and offer her the position of a lifetime: IGN's new on-camera talent.
More recently, Naomi has been featured in the nationwide billboard campaign for Virgin Mobile and has also worked with AskMen.com, as one of its regular hosts for its online news show, The Daily Brief. You can see her every day on IGN.com.
