for those of you with a Xbox One, there is a tab in "Featured" on the Home Screen called "New games revealed at E3". since i didn't actually sit down and watch E3, this was great as it let me get watch the extended trailers for most games.
so now comes my overall impression of games i'm looking forward too now that more as been revealed.
first off, something that was missing was
so fuckin ready for this game, looks so good. T minus 3 months. can't wait. i just hope that the passing is improved over last year.
the one trailer that really caught my attention was for Ubisoft's The Crew
i think this really highlights what can be the best part about this game which is constantly changing weather, scenery and environments. in my opinion it's one of the best done trailer's for a racing game i've ever seen. i've never been this genuinely excited for a racing game after seeing a trailer. the best part is that it's probably actual gameplay, not a series of cinematics.
another was the video that's up for Rainbow 6 that Archangel posted. in case you missed it
now i don't know if this is actual gameplay from start to finish but if it is i'm really fuckin jazzed for this game. Empy your my dude but i don't know what the hell you didn't like about this. maybe we just have a few different tastes, i don't know, but man that shit looks dope to me.
another stand out was The Witcher III
the mark of a good trailer is not knowing what's gameplay and what's cinematic and this one does it well. there is a decent amount of actual gameplay but it can be hard to tell. i'm still standing with my theory that this will be the title that pushes console gaming's graphic's to the edge. cannot. wait.
other standout's were Dragon Age Inquisition, LOTR Shadow of Mordor and Forza Horizon 2, personally. looks like online drifting will be back with a vengeance. pumped for that. Assassin's Creed Unity has me curious i will admit. if that ends up being 4 player co-op campaign i might have to scoop that up.
Destiny. Destiny looks interesting. PS4 has the alpha already, check out Twitch if you want to see some gameplay. obviously looks a lot like Halo right now but hey it's Bungie.
i hope The Division will be good, Halo 5 should be interesting and i'm curious to see what happens with the Doom unveil at Quakecon considering Bethesda is working on it.
no Fallout 4 but there is still one day left. fingers crossed.
we still have PaxEast and 2 (i think) other gaming convention type deals left so i'm hoping it only gets better from here. the future looks bright for Xbox One.
