the New Guy Questions

Hey guys,

I have my marksman for about a week now but the forums still intimidate the shit out of me with things I don't understand. So I though, let's make a thread for fellow new guys like me where we can ask random questions about the BF4 forum!

Questions of my own:
What is whiskey company, keep seeing the roster and things but what kind of group is it? Also there are threads about whiskey company 'Platoon' and 'HQ' and 'Division', are these different groups or is this all the same?
I also keep seeing the charlie delta defense squad banner on my righ, who are they?

I hope I didn't post this in the wrong section or anything, I figured this is only for the BF4 section so.

Divisions
We have XBOX 360 and XBOX One Divisions led by CAG Covieleader and CAG GypsyOutlaw, respectively.

Brigades
Under the Divisions is the Battlefield Brigade (this encompasses all BF games in the franchise). Since we don't have tons and tons of members, our single BF Brigade falls under both Division leaders. BlameItOnGod13 might fall in here since he's listed as a Brigade Commander, but I'm unsure about this one.

Battalions
Under the Brigade are the American and European Battalions led by CAG pisspawz and Johnbai84, respectively.

Companies
Under the Battalions is Whiskey Company (this encompasses BF4). Since we don't have tons and tons of members, our single Whiskey Company falls under both Battalion leaders. BF3 and/or BF Hardline might get their own "Company" if they had enough members playing them as their primary games. At this time, Whiskey Company is essentially every Battlefield-as-their-primary-game member except for some of the higher ranked leaders. Whiskey Company has a Headquarters (HQ) and currently only has one Platoon. Here's the Company roster https://www.cagclan.com/community/th...pany-HQ-Roster.

Platoons
Under a Company can be multiple Platoons but we only have one at the moment ... 1st Platoon. Here's the roster https://www.cagclan.com/community/th...Platoon-Roster. We have tried to divide the squads as such ... Alpha Squad is highly active XBOX One members, Bravo Squad is highly active XBOX 360 members, and Charlie Squad is casual members. So, if someone mentions "360 Division" in a Battlefield context, they are probably meaning members who play BF on the 360 which is Bravo Squad (all 360) and Charlie squad members who are on the 360.

I'll let someone else explain Charlie Delta but, to my understanding, it's an elite group who excel at playing a particular and effective style of Call of Duty.

I'm glad u asked these questions man,it's the only way u gonna learn to navagate the forums with sucess.
Hell we don't expect new recruits to come on here and be perfect at findin the right forums to post in and what not.
I was always told when I was growing up to learn u have to make mistakes but it's what u do with the knowledge from these mistakes that is essential to success.
As for Charlie delta I'm sure someone will post and help with this. All I'm saying is that Charlie Delta is Cheech's baby:-)

when they do an updated roster they'll place you in a fireteam and platoon, no training necessary.
