Xbox One Repair

Hey everyone. After 1 day back from vacation, my Xbox One has given up reading discs.

I've been told to send it back for replacement but i don't know how long that will be.

For now, i'll be on the 360. Battlefield 3, ghosts (clan wars) etc.

Mine did that for a while then I did a cold restart and it worked fine after if you haven't tried that I would suggest doing it but if that doesn't work I guess its fucked haha

I got the Best Buy Warranty for 2 years if anything happens I get a new one. I always buy warranties for electronics regardless of the brand. And once you get a replacement you can buy the warranty again.

That is what I did with my 360, every time that motherfucker broke I took it in ..this last time though they didn't have the old dinosaur 360 and only had the slims with a smaller fucking hard drive and I would of had to buy a new hard drive for that fucker, so I just took it to get fixed for 50 or 60 bones dont remember which one it was ..but my 360 works just fine now ...

I had to do the same exact thing with mine and it took Microsoft 12-14 days for them to send a new xbone. Unless you have a credit card that they can use for a $500 security deposit just in case you don't send the old In. Then you'll have a new one in 2-3 days which they give. You a free game of your choice unfortunately I didn't have that much on my card at the time so I had to wait the two weeks

Yeah everyone. I had been having weird issues for the last month or so. Whenever i would change discs, the unit would sometimes not recognize the disc. I could sometimes just eject and it would fix itself after a couple of time trying to load it again. Every now and then it would spin the discs really loudly, like a mini airplane turbine sound, not everytime, but sometimes.

I tried the hard reboots as microsoft suggested, cleaned all the discs and this didn't fix it for any disc.

I shipped it to them today and they say 14-21 days including shipping time.

They no longer do the advanced replacement with credit card for some reason. They have that choice completely greyed out on their support site.

Well at least i have the 360 to entertain myself... for now.
