    well i don't think any country will ever result to nuclear warfare after seeing the devastation in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the weapons have only gotten more powerful so there's no need to worry about that. as far as recovery from regular warfare, i can't see any problem. the world has been through 2 massive wars and bounced back each time.
