Sorry I didn't make it last night for practice. I fully intended to, but I passed out and fell asleep watching TV last night and woke up at like 2 AM then just decided to go to bed. I wasn't even drinking last night, must have been playing catch from a late friday night. lol
No problem Nitro, Gdubs got home, played maybe 2-3 games and had to go cuz he was shitfaced
We will do this again tonight, tomorrow, day after tomorrow or whenever we get the chance. Enjoy your Sunday buddy, I am going to a babyshower for one of my best friends, I can't miss this for the world, she has been a very good friend of mine for over 15 years and I promised I would be there. So see you guys later tonight around 5-6 pacific.

THIS IS IMPORTANT
If you want to try out to be a member of this squad you MUST read the earlier pages of this thread, especially the long post from me that contains the class setups for every member of the team, killstreaks, and responsibilities of each member of the team. If you're a new member to the squad then you're not gonna be a runner, plain and simple. if you want to try and become a runner you must prove it to me and the rest of the active squad members. running in CTF is an art, its not your normal run and gun. you must know the maps inside and out to be a runner. every new member trying out for the squad will be a flag guard. VERY VERY VERY important because you must make sure that our flag stays there so that when the runners return with the enemy flag they can finish the job. We can't have our running hiding all by his lonesome while everyone else is running around like chickens with no heads looking for our own flag. cannot cannot cannot happen.

@brando sounds great to me, i'm free all day saturday and sunday. i would also like to get an official practice scheduled for the weekend even though nitro is gone all weekend, we will have to find out first alternate
@twinz well as brando just said, we're gonna set up a little training class for this weekend. but if you just continue to play with us when we go to CTF then we can all get a feel of how you play,etc. Make sure that you check my post on this first page that has class setups and killstreak setups so that you know what you're gonna need to do while playing with us. You will be a guard.

Ok, this is not a knock on anyone but what a difference it makes when we don't have the core group. Last night we played with 3 new members on the CTF Squad and it proved how important it is for everyone to be on the same page. In order to be on the same page we must all attend meetings, read the forums for new posts containing new information and more than anything, put any personal goals you have in a game aside.
CTF Squad is not the place for "anyone" to try and get the top score, first blood or anything else you may need to finish or complete an achievement. If we are ahead and winning, then yes we can go for those achievements, but if we can't even score on the other team "DO NOT" even attempt to go for achievements. If you do and you compromise the mission, you will be removed and not allowed to play CTF with us again.
I am not going to mention names, but you know who you are. If you are told to go to a certain area, "DO IT"!. On defense you "MUST" use a suppressed weapon to avoid giving away your position. Use nova gas if you have to and tact. insert too. Attending daily games where we play is a good way and probably the best way to learn how we play. We rarely loose when we play as the core group, if you want to be part of that core group attend meetings and read through the forums for information.
We also need to keep chatter down during games. Many times I try to call out the enemy and I can't because someone is talking about something else or complaining during games.
This CTF Squad is not going to be for everyone, so if you are not sent an invitation to join us don't take it personal. This is only for the very best, the Elite. You want to be part of it? Then prove you belong. You start off at the very bottom anywhere you go, no matter how good you think you are. This is a "TEAM" not a Lone Wolf Squad.
This does not mean you don not belong in the Clan either. We play HCTD every day and that is where we all learn to play as a team. I am always learning new things and I will do what I have to do to win, even if it means staying back guarding the flag in CTF matches. Every position is important and you need to understand what each position is responsible for.
Well guys enough of this rant. I will be sending out our weekly Newsletter to remind everyone of what is going on.

Couldn't have said it any better Cheech. We have two slots open right now, they are both for alternates to the core group. This is an elite squad if you haven't caught on yet, so its not gonna be after you get one night of games in with us you're good. Only the best.
