is the X1 Default Headset "okay" Gear For a Noob?

Hello,

I'm still relatively new to Titanfall, the Xbox ONE and even this clan (applied for recruitment today).

Anyway, I've never played with a clan before. I've never even played an online game where constant communication were of importance (I play NHL14 with my coworkers, but there the communication is mostly for shits and giggles).

Point is, the only headset I own that's compatible with my X1 is the one that came with the box. Is the sound quality of it good enough for a new recruit while doing the initiation program? I don't really have money to spend on a headset, and don't think I'd fancy doing so if I'm not good enough to join this clan.

i don't see why not. if you get to a point where you become a try hard like me then hearing footsteps aka sound whoring and such will be necessary but if your a casual player then a default headset is fine.

i think turtle beach has a low end headset specifically for XB1 for $100 US, might be cheaper now, check their website.

I wonder if that's 100$ incl. swedish vat (25%, it's not cheap being a socialist state )

it might be cheaper to get a set of X12's which are probably $40 or less US and then get the adapter which is $20-25 US. check Amazon and see what you can find, you can get a like new used headset for cheaper then a off the shelf new headset.

turtle beach have at least 3 models around 50/70 euros, but i suggest you to spent one and good.

Go for Tritton. The "a720+" just rock! ^_*. 150 euros (xbox adapter included, but you have to purchase it separately) you're set for good.
