New Award Ideas For the Battlefield Folks

The Healer - 1 ribbon/10 times
Expert Healer - 3 ribbons/10 times

[Different Weapon] Sharpshooter - 3 ribbons of one kind (AR, PDW, LMG, Shotty, Sniper, DMR)/10 times
[Different Weapon] Expert - 5 ribbons of one kind (AR, PDW, LMG, Shotty, Sniper, DMR)/15 times

Team Player - 10 ribbons/1 per game
Expert Team Player - 20 ribbons/1 per game
Master Team Player - 30 ribbons/1 per game

Recruiter award - give members some incentive to recruit new members and help our community grow.
Recruit 5 people, in order to receive this award, the new recruits must have passed probie period and completed their marksman. This will also, promote playing with new members in that you want to help JoeNewGuy finish. Therefore helping him help you. Its a win win. There can be multiple tiers to this award. [This award is not solely based in BF, I suppose we can share the idea with the CoD folk. lolz]

I think some awards verified by the game dvr could be fun.

For example:

Squad Medic Award

In sequence, kill 2 enemy players and revive a CAG member in your squad.

This award would require you to record this and be verified by the revived CAG member in the Award seekers game dvr.

So I was thinking of some new awards we could for the BF folks, since the CoD people are getting fancy new ribbons. That and I am all about having more things to work for. Just some ideas I have either seen in other threads or thought about.

[Any Weapon] Expert - 50 ribbons limit 1 per game or get 5 in one game. Similar to the pistol marksman, only a marksman sharpshooter and expert for the different classes.

CIB 2.0 - 20 ribbons of each flavor.

A step beyond Expert, like the Master level, and Weapons God. Its 1200 for Expert, make Master like 2500 and Weapons God 5K. I mean hypothetically you could keep going. For people that really want to rank up and put the strong step forward, it will if nothing else show you who these people are.

Since the other classes (not pistol and hand to hand), call for 6 kills rather than 4 kills. We could have Marksman or we could call them things like AR Specialist which would be like 3 AR ribbons 5 different games. Then an AR Sharpshooter that is 4 ribbons 10 different games, and then an AR Expert that is 5 ribbons 15 rounds. We could do that for all the classes.r

Then I really like the recruiter one, and you could even do it in tiers.
Recruiter I - Recruit 3 people. Each new recruit must sign up on the forums, get their post count, and complete their marksman in order for award to be given, you are this person's mentor.
Recruiter II - Recruit 5 people. (Same thing)
Recruiter III - Recruit 10 people. (Same thing)

At the point that someone has a Recruiter III, you may then have 10 other people doing the same thing with their recruits, and it will multiply from there. Either way you ensure that no one falls through the cracks and everyone is on the same page. You will be growing the activity within the squad and creating a massive foundation and structure of people in the process.


The others ones, are pretty much just that.

Do you guys like the amount of kills for these, I guess the actual names of these just need some work. And then of course there is making graphics for them. But I figured I would let them pass conceptual stage first.


Weapon ribbons
* Assault rifle: kill 6 enemies with assault rifles in one match, such as the M416
* Carbine: kill 6 enemies with carbines, like the M4 or AKU-12
* Sniper Rifle: kill 6 enemies with sniper rifles, such as the M98B
* LMG: kill 6 enemies with a light machine gun, like the U-100
* DMR: kill 6 enemies with a designated marksman rifle, like the M39
* PWD: kill 6 enemies with a personal defense weapon / SMG, like the MX4
* Shotgun: kill 6 enemies with a shotgun, like the SPAS-12
* Melee: kill 4 enemies with a knife
* Handgun: kill 4 enemies with handguns in one match, such as the M1911

I like it but thing we could do is make the kills more than 6 seems a little easy to achieve but I like the setup

Let's use the idea of AR Specialist, this could work for any class, but for this example I am using the AR.

AR Specialist - get 3 ribbons (18 kills) 5 different games
AR Sharpshooter - get 4 ribbons (24 kills) 10 different games
AR Expert - get 5 ribbons (30 kills) 15 different games

It's up to you guys what the awards are for your respective Brigades you guys .... You guys do however have to keep in mind that I can not add awards if I don't have them done or if you guys don't have ideas or concepts for me to work on these awards.

The awards need to be of good quality and by that I mean who ever works on the awards needs to really put some time, effort and skill into the awards ..remember these awards are going to be seen by the public which is why I am redoing some of the awards right now ...

You guys also have to have the requirements ready and set so that I can just go and add them to the list of awards and medals ...

So again, it's up to you guys what new medals and awards we make available ... ask Patron ..he came up with the Quarter Pounder medal ...

I have no problem putting in the time to perfect this to the point of public display. This thread is to bring the idea and to see who is interested or would be interested in them. But I have no problem putting in the time.

What about an award for surviving an commander tomahawk missile strike those seem to be popular when rolling with a full squad of 7 CAG members can't count how many times we survive those our self specially of objective C on flood zone lol I dunno could be call CAG WMD survivor
