I've got some news that made me verry happy!

When I came back from school ealier this day my dad called me he needed some help at work, this happends alot so I just go there and help him. After 3hours the job was done and we went home, in the car he asked me: What are you going to do when you're home? I told him i'm going to play COD, than he said: do you need something for that game I can help you with as a gift for the work you doing for me?

You're getting there... I've got my season pass!!!

The only thing is, he also wants to play some game's so bye bye KD haha xD

Exactly Arch, I miss those days with my Parents man. Now as an adult I think back to weekends especially, my Dad would ask me to get up to help him clan the garage or the yard or what ever it was. If I did get up and went with him, we would stop at "Shakey's" pizza or Gemco, or Fedco, Target or Kmart and if I had an attitude to begin with I would not get shit!

The days I didn't say shit or have an attitude about helping him we did the same thing but right off the bat my Dad would have a different feel to him and I knew I could ask for something or not even ask for something and he would himself say, "hey what was it that you asked me for the other day?" ....

I do the same with my Son now, I take him to work and if he doesn't have a fit about it I slip him $20 here and there every time.

Our Parents do so many things to teach us discipline, responsibility and work ethics in general, but we as kids never see that until it's too late. I love to watch the Discovery Channel especially with specials about Lions and their Cubs how they teach them how to fend for themselves and stay alive. Animals are so much more advance than us and we don't see it because we can't communicate with them. I think because we "can" communicate we feel like we can disregard the small lessons in life that our Parents by nature try to teach us.

So my point? Always do things with your Parents with a smile because there is a reason for them asking you to help them do something and you never know when the last time could be to do something with your Parents. ...

It's times like these I'm thankful I'm a female, and that I'm daddy's little girl because he buys me whatever I want for my xbox. As long as I stay outta trouble, luckily i get to keep my work money all to myself.
