How Do You "tag" a Member In a Thread?

How does one tag another member in a post or a thread? Like saying hey FUCKING read my fucking post bro...

You can't tag someone, you just have to quote them ... I am also working on a script to tag people in threads, when it's done I will add it to the forums ...

Now what is your idea of tagging? Can you elaborate your idea some more , maybe to help me finish this code ...

Here's an example ... I'm a fireteam leader and I want the members of my team to be notified of a particular thread and/or post, through the Notifications (like how a Fucking Hell Yeah comes to me). How could I tell the forums to notify them? (And I don't mind having to enter them in individually, not asking for groups at this point )

Ok for example:

I am trying to set up a squad meeting and I want Kujeaux to see the post.
So just saying... Tonight there will be a meeting with me, "TAG"@Cheech, and "TAG"@Kujeaux....

I hope thats not to confusing and I hope it made sense...

i envisioned something similar to Facebook where you get a separate notification when your tagged in a post.

Ok I understand and that is what I was thinking as well ...I will see what I can come up with now ...

Just so you know, we do have groups, so when members of a group subscribe to a thread they will get the notification ..

You can also set up a squads thread and have your members all subscribe to it, when that thread gets a new reply they will get a notification ...
