Mark Forum Read, Suggestion

i know when we click on the unread / new post link we have the ability to mark all forums as read at the top of the list

i would like to propose individual links for each thread to mark specific posts as read..... today i have logged in to find 200+ new posts, most of which are irrelevant.

with our ever increasing activity lately i can foresee this inconvenience only getting more tediuos.

scrolling and picking through all relevant ones is time consuming and a little (for lack of a better word) annoying.

the ability to disregard each individual post with the click of a button would be fantastic

Ok unbalanced..I got it done for you fucker ! ..

Now when you go look at the new posts and threads, you can "double click" on the status icon to the left of the thread and it will mark it read ....remember "DOUBLE CLICK" ....

Everyone that is a forum moderator, you "CAN NOT" double click to mark threads read on the icon , doing that will lock the thread...instead you have to check the box on the far right and go down to the Moderation Tools and click on Mark Threads as Read option which is the last one then hit the proceed button ...

I noticed this a little bit ago because I was closing threads instead of marking them read when Unbalanced said he was not getting a lock on the status icon ...

Ok ...I fixed the code and made it so that moderators can also just double click on the icon to mark the thread read and not have to do the extra steps I mentioned earlier ...ENJOY !
