Discuss the Battlefield 4 Regiment of CAG's Battlefield Brigade here
Sadly, since the release of BF4, Battlefield as a series is dying. Only 2% of people who bought bf4 play it, and the fact that it took so long for custom servers on consoles, to be released caused players to forget about the game. What do you all think about this?
it took less time for player controlled servers on BF4 then it did on BF3. for some reason people forget that. PC players had custom servers from day one. PC has always been the leading platform for BF, they don't have to wait weeks for Microsoft/Sony to security screen their patches.
also, can i ask where you got that 2% figure from?

i was really hoping for a reply. i can safely say that i am rather disappointed.
Seems to me like BF has found a niche. There is no other FPS game on the market that has as many vehicles and big open maps. I don't think BF is going anywhere.

Yep man if I had a PC I'd be hitting arma and dayZ.consoles would not see me again EVER.i must have clocked up at least 50 odd hrs watching arma and dayZ on twitch and YouTube.

fuck yeah JB, totally agree. i'm hoping i can get away with some minor upgrades to my PC so i can play the DayZ standalone. can't tell you how many of Frankie's DayZ vids i've watched.

There's just so much to it and gives a more realistic sense of survival (dayZ) and arma seems Lille it doesn't have any limitations.thouroughly enjoy watching them just hope someday I get the opportunity to them

I been watching 'Altis Life' on YouTube and desperately wanna get Arma 3 so I can get involved with this and Day Z.
Looks awesome and yeah, it's like Eve Online in that if you die, you lose the lot...permanently...and have to get more kit.
Will my laptop run it....should do...but lack of good quality time is an issue.

dayZ would be a great game to get a CAG survivor group going if we had the man power, sadly a pc that would run it well costs a pretty penny
