ESO Delayed For Console?

Thanks guys appreciate it. I may get this for PC just so I have peeps to play with. I'm assuming you guys won't be playing this on console (unless the sub carries over, which it should, but probably won't)

I've been struggling with this. Do I abandon PC and go console? I think if enough people here (which isn't much) would be on the console then I would drop my PC sub (and obviously, start character progression over).

FYI, picking which of the three factions to play in is vital if you want to play with others. You must be in the same faction to play together, but you can have up to 8 characters and pick the starting faction when you create. So, you could have 3 in Aldmeri, 2 in Ebonheart, 3 in Daggerfall, but only Daggerfall characters can play with Daggerfall characters (unless fighting against each other in PvP). But, all of YOUR characters share a common bank and thus share items. On the PC, my main characters are in the Aldmeri Dominion, so that's where most of my progression is, if you wanted to take advantage of my well-developed characters' ability to one-shot the noobie-noob npcs you'll be fighting early. Or in a purer fashion, I can roll a new character in whatever faction.

I can't remember which faction Blame's main is in, but it's not Aldmeri.

i don't think i could play it on console, i love my addons way to much and i don't think i could fully enjoy the game without them. that and a MMO needs constant updating/patching and because of MS' security clearance thing for anything downloadable i can't wait forever and day for much need patches. Kuj you know how often they are patching that game too just as i.

I just read online that your PC character will be transferable to console and the console version of the game will be $20 with an additional month if sub time, so essentially $5 for the game on console.

Sounds like I will be making my character in the Aldmeri Dominion so we can wreck shit together.

i think it would be 20 for the game and then 30 days of free game time, similar to what they did for PC.

I'd be a little tentative about that transfer thing, at the moment. That seems to be from the message that was put up then taken down quickly.

Ya I am not sure I would trust a character transfer from PC to Console. Not sure it has even been done in another game successfully, and we all know anything Zenimax/Bethesda is buggy.

What about PC requirements? Do you need a beast to play this game?

I don't think so ... I'm using the same laptop (yes, laptop and definitely not a beast) that struggled on occasion in Eve Online and really have no problems with ESO.

Well shit I could just slap this bitch on my Mac. Never thought of that, i guess i auto assumed I'd need a Tower PC. Shit ill prolly try it this weekend then.

i ran eso beta on my work/home pc.... onboard graphics, 2gb ram and it seemd to work ok - dont think i had the graphics set at the highest point though. lol
