You could take the Member of the Month a step further with Member of the Week within a squad or division. But its all a matter of preference and logistics.

Really wish I could edit my posts to add this things, but anyways....

I was doing this a couple weeks ago, Trivia questions. It was a good booster for online activity. The last way that I did it, was I posted 50 questions on a thread and each person could answer 1 question a day till they were gone, the person who had the most right answers at the end got bonus points.

The idea was to have an award for the person who won 3 to 5 consecutive trivia sets.

Shenaenae was leading this before we left.

I like the idea but would still have to vote against it... This would ultimately be a popularity contest and I don't agree with them for the sake of team spirit

There may be ways around it. Base MotM on forum + game activity an overall type thing. Then by using the nomination form everyone could get in on it. And if you split it up you could essentially have multiple MotMs based on division or game sort of a hybrid between the MotM and the MotW.

This is a bump....

Things that were also posted in this thread that I never got a clear answer as to yeah or nay.

- Gear Shop - Unbalanced and JayFive were working on this & are no longer here it appears. I would be happy to work on this. Just need approval from the folks upstairs.

- Member of the Month for the entire community - people make nominations and then it is voted on by people upstairs.

- Designs Squad - I made a group for this. I think one person joined it. I saw we had quite a bit of people say they were interested and then very little response. I see a lot of potential within CAG and I think if we got a group in line, we could really put our heads together.

So, what do you guys think?

i like it. i think the first two would be Cheech's call though as he would have to work it into the website. as far as a design team/squad i would love to GG at that stuff but in the same sense i don't have any kind of image editing software so not only would i need said software (and i'm always broke) but someone to teach it to me as well.
