But if any of you dont, its pretty amazing how they break down the actual performance of the various weapons that are available in BF4. So if it wasn't already confusing enough to pick one, this shit can make your mind spin. But I hope someone finds it helpful.

it's how i make tough decision's between guns for classes. it's also how i discovered why i was dropping people so fast with the M4.

you want to look at a couple different things that the game doesn't tell you.

as far as damage, most Assault Rifles are the same but with Carbines things can change. if you want a gun that will have more damage at range then you want something that has high End Damage and a relatively high range for Damage Drop End.

how to read Damage Drops - Damage Drop Start is the range at which bullets will start doing less damage, in this case 8 meters for both guns. Damage Drop End is the range where anything beyond it each bullet will do the minimum amount of damage, in this case 55 meters for both guns.

Muzzle Velocity and Max Distance will give you a good idea as to how much potential a gun has a range. the higher the better for both. you'll see the ACE23 has slightly better range potential stock.

you want to look at Reload Time both Empty and Bullets Left. the numbers are reload time in seconds. you'll see the M416 is better.

in Recoil you want to look at Recoil Up and First Shot Recoil. this will give you an idea of if you want to tap fire the gun at range and/or use a Angled Grip/Folding Grip. Left and Right Recoil can also come into play on some weapons but for the most part it's unnoticeable except when your hip firing. you'll notice the ACE23 and M416 are both relatively high so you'll want to tap fire at range and possibly use an Angled/Folding Grip.

the only other thing you might want to look at is the Recoil Spreads so you can make better decisions for hip firing. i always use Laser Sight's anyway so i've only ever had to look at the spreads for one gun.
