So I've just been doing my morning catch-up on the forums and noticed I've just passed the 2k mark for post count.

Don't get me wrong...I don't wanna be all back o' da bus about it but wanted to help with promoting forum activity. This is the hub of the CAG family afterall.

Does this now entitle me to access to the CAG lady locker?

Can I choose a sweet from the sweety jar?

I've been seeing lots of people making the effort and going that bit extra to show their commitment to the family. This makes me happy.

Your time in CAG, which is 4 months now and the amount of posts plus you having all your Weapon Badges automatically qualifies you for the rank of Sergeant at the very minimum. Your post count alone if you were here longer would be enough to rank you up past Sergeant Major.

You are obviously very active and I mean very active and this is what "I" personally want to see from every member in the clan.

In CAG just like in the Marines, the Rank and Billet of Gunnery Sergeant is one of great respect and prestige and I can see you as a Gunny for Wiskey Company ...

Every Company needs a Gunny and I believe you would be a great Gunny for Wiskey ...

Here is what a CAG Gunny does:

Gunnery Sergeant


CAG Gunnery Sergeants are members who have earned their Experts Badge and are ready to train and help recruits and new members obtain their Weapon Badges

Gunnery Sergeants "Gunnies" are CAG's Face of Discipline, if you get out of line expect one of these guys to find out one way or another.

During this time, Gunnery Sergeants should begin planning so they can decide on whether to keep moving up the Chain of Command or remain as the chief of operations for his Company

A maximum of 1 Gunnery Sergeant per Company is allowed

In order to receive the Rank of Gunnery Sergeant the following requirements must be met:

• Must have a minimum 600 posts on the forums
• Minimum of 6 months in the Clan
• Must be recommended for this Rank and Billet
• Must earn the Experts Badge

What this means is that the Company Gunny is there to assists the Company Commander in making decisions regarding the Company as a whole. He helps the Company Commander with the employment of the unit, supervising and coordinating individual training of every member in the Company and helping out the 1st Sergeant do his job as well.

Gunny's are very well respected in the Marines, more so than most Officers because of the time it takes to become a Gunny as opposed to Officers who just go to Officer School and get there the easy way and most times not ever seeing a single bit of combat in their time served.

So I personally hold the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in the highest of regards and to higher standards. Right now neither Company in the clan has a Gunnery Sergeant and that's for a reason.

If you think you have what it takes to take on the rank and billet of Gunny for CAG let me know, but make sure you understand that I will not accept anything but perfection from my Clan's Gunny's. It is a rank and billet of high prestige and one, probably the only one in the Clan that I will not allow just anyone to have or hold.
