BF4 Rental Server Discussion

Just wanted to open up a thread about this so we are all on the same page when the rental servers do drop.

Personally I am immediately going to rent a server and pay upfront probably for 6 months or a year depending on the options. Just wanted to talk about whether we think one will be enough. Maybe a rush and a conquest or something if we think we need 2.

What I will do is give first priority on admins to anyone who wants to donate some towards the server i am renting. Priority will also go to senior ranking members of the clan that play frequently. Right now we don't know how many admin spots there will be per server but I think these are pretty fair terms if we are limited on spots.

Was anyone else planning on renting one right away? Just letting everyone know I will be renting one and everyone is welcome to use it and enjoy it.

When the time has come where to the rent server has release, I sure we will talk about it with the pawz and kuj. Not only we need to rent for 360, but also one.

i will personally be paying for one out of pocket that will run 500% metro and lockers on conquest and nothing else. i won't be putting CAG in the server name/description however, i have read on Battlelog that doing that actually scares most randoms away. they think its nothing but team stacking and base raping.

i do however want to see what happens with the servers and if they are issues when they launch them so i might wait and see what happens with other people's rented servers.
