as far as home ice advantage, that doesn't mean shit either. they still have to play 3 games in Minnesota. the flyers beat the bruins in game 7 in Boston for the Cup in the 70's so yeah home ice doesn't always mean you'll win bud.

dude i'm a red wings fan. the hawks were our #1 rival, an original 6 rival. i'm never going to pick them for anything other than losing regardless of how good they may be. i don't hate them anymore seeing as how the 2 teams will rarely play each other and in the post season the only time they'll ever see each other is in the finals but that doesn't mean i'm ever going to pick them to win anything. get used to it.
