zach parise has. mikko koivu, ryan suter and jason pominville have all played in big games. heatley has also gone deep with the sharks. don't get me wrong, they have some super young guys but they do have veteran talent as well.

and just saying "well the hawks have veterans that have been there and won a cup" doens't mean shit when the other team is just as talented. is that your only point as to why they'll win? kinda weak dude.

as far as home ice advantage, that doesn't mean shit either. they still have to play 3 games in Minnesota. the flyers beat the bruins in game 7 in Boston for the Cup in the 70's so yeah home ice doesn't always mean you'll win bud.

are the hawks the former stanley cup champs? i hadn't read your previous 5 posts about that...

dude i'm a red wings fan. the hawks were our #1 rival, an original 6 rival. i'm never going to pick them for anything other than losing regardless of how good they may be. i don't hate them anymore seeing as how the 2 teams will rarely play each other and in the post season the only time they'll ever see each other is in the finals but that doesn't mean i'm ever going to pick them to win anything. get used to it.

The Blackhawks are absolutely cooking offensively. After dropping the first two games of the opening-round series against the Blues, the Blackhawks moved into high gear, outscoring the Blues 14-6 in the final four games while averaging 3.33 goals per game through the six-game set against one of the top defensive teams in the NHL. Six players scored more than once in the series, 12 players had at least one goal and they were perfect in games in which they scored first (and 0-for-2 in games they did not). Perhaps most impressive is that the team's best players are already in peak form early in the playoffs. Patrick Kane has three goals, Duncan Keith is tied for the team lead with seven points, Brent Seabrook has six points, even though he was suspended for half the first-round series for his vicious hit on David Backes, and all captain Jonathan Toews has done is score three game winners. On the other side of the puck, the Blackhawks have been at the top of their game killing penalties, allowing just two power-play goals on 29 opportunities. In short, the Blackhawks are rolling, and that's a scary thing for the Wild.
