to be honest, i'll take the wild. they are playing better than i thought they would for their first playoff appearance with all that new personnel.

i don't think that Pitt dropping 2 to Columbus bodes well for them moving forward and either team they face next round is gonna really grind them down as well. hoping they get knocked out at some point.

Ok my flyers lost, on NHL.com i predicted that. My bracket for the reaming playoffs is as followed

Eastern Conference (100%)
Pitt over NYC
Boston over Montreal
Boston Over Pitt for ECC

Western Conference (Missed 1)
Chicago over Colorado
LA over ANA
Chicago over LA for WCC

(i know if both COL and LA lose my bracket is bust)
Stanley Cup
Boston over Chicago

Wild in 7? Look I know the wild look good but they havent been in this round before and my Hawks (returning Stanley Cup winners) have home ice advantage this round. I like your other picks tho.

zach parise has. mikko koivu, ryan suter and jason pominville have all played in big games. heatley has also gone deep with the sharks. don't get me wrong, they have some super young guys but they do have veteran talent as well.

and just saying "well the hawks have veterans that have been there and won a cup" doens't mean shit when the other team is just as talented. is that your only point as to why they'll win? kinda weak dude.

as far as home ice advantage, that doesn't mean shit either. they still have to play 3 games in Minnesota. the flyers beat the bruins in game 7 in Boston for the Cup in the 70's so yeah home ice doesn't always mean you'll win bud.

are the hawks the former stanley cup champs? i hadn't read your previous 5 posts about that...

dude i'm a red wings fan. the hawks were our #1 rival, an original 6 rival. i'm never going to pick them for anything other than losing regardless of how good they may be. i don't hate them anymore seeing as how the 2 teams will rarely play each other and in the post season the only time they'll ever see each other is in the finals but that doesn't mean i'm ever going to pick them to win anything. get used to it.
