I'm open to this, but i think it should be Fire Team or Squad specific and not just a random member of CAG contacting new recruits and then never hearing from them again unless your a recruiter.

Considering my fireteam is completely dormant on the forums I would certainly have the energy to be assigned some people to contact
I agree that some more focus on the recruits we already have would help us

The personal touch with recruits is a good thing...be it over xbl or PM...if you can spare time for people...it goes a helluva long way and you're more likely to retain the good people.
If people don't reciprocate then so be it...but I can give a few examples of awesome recruits that have stuck with us and mainly because we made the effort to bring them under our wing and make them feel welcome and confident enough to get involved without feeling intimidated.
We're all good people who want to play with like minded people...helping new recruits to see that and not be intimidated or think we're something we're not is not that difficult. It's just time and that personal touch.

What about a squad for recruits.
Like you can have a squad leader with fireteam leaders. Consider it like a boot camp squad.

I say we start a selection course. Like a Recruit has to lead other recruits through a lil village clearing. Clearing buildings and stuff. Also we should have something like a Gauntlet for our new recruits before they get to the village clearing course to see if they are worthy of the CAG title on top of the marksmanship budge

Might be worth a look fundy it would show us more of an emphasis on how recruits work as a team and communicate deaths,enemy positions, etc etc.
