Sunday Scrims

So I have an idea if you don't like it send it right back.

This summer I will be largely busy but Sundays will be my gaming day.

I have begun to test the waters with a couple other Clans to see if I can get a weekly or bi-monthly scrim going for us. Before I go too far into contacting other clans I would like to A: Get the go ahead from COC and B: See if you guys have some interest in this before I commit to any times.

It is VERY important to note that this is NOT a competitive team sign up. I am doing this with no intent of joining any tournaments or competitions. I just enjoy the art of the friendly scrim. There may be some time commitment once you have indicated you are interested in a particular single scrim, meaning that you don't have to play every session. In fact a mix mash of different players every session would make this the most fun.

With that being said this could second as a practise for a competitive team if we choose to make one in the future.

So basically what I am asking is. Is Sunday a good day for enough of our clan to go ahead organizing this?

Bear has directed me towards a platoon that seems to be specifically set up for different groups to join and connect to organize scrims, it seems it would be a helpful tool.

P.s. This would be on Xbox One

not a bad idea but make sure you do research on all the other teams players. i don't mind losing but i have no intentions of participating in ritual BF slaughter.

Noted Blame. I would like to get into a groove of playing just a couple other groups regularly who aren't douchebags or retardedly good at BF.

Were you there when we were scrimming DOB? I don't know about you but that was really fun and fairly evenly matched.

a lot, not all but a lot, of good players have ego's the size of texas so good luck with the non douchery thing haha. not all groups are bad. its also tough to get people to stick to their agreed upon banned weapons/gadgets/tactics.

Im thinking afternoon so we don't interfere with major shows or sport events. But it will largely depend on everyones availability

It would be a very good I hope this works out, because from what I heard from the last arranged meeting on the one no one give a shit.

I understand it's not fully competitive, but their has to be still some kind of structure.

Friendly or not you guys would have to play to win we are #1 and can't have a embarrassment like last time.

But yeah it would be a great thing for you guys to get into, if everyone has the commitment needed.

Sorry if I sound like a A hole but I get pissed when higher ups spend time and effort to get a meeting put together and then no one bothers.

If we are afraid of losing we will never play anything organized competitive or not. If you can't handle loosing then this isn't for you.

I intend to play to win but realize I am not the best player. We will win or loose as a team and apply tactics the best we know how.

The point behind all this is to get some organized set playtimes (structure) and get playing some BF other than against randoms. And of course have a shite ton of fun because the last 2 organized scrims I played in with CAG members were balls deep in fun.

The reason for this thread is to see who, precisely, gives a shit.
