depends on the gamemode. Some guns are great in certain modes and horrible in others, but for just in general try out these
Assault Rifle - Honey Badger or Remmington R5
Sub Machine - MTAR-X
Shotgun - bulldog
Marksman- MR-28
Sniper USCR

I do like the maverick a2 sniper. But that's my personal opinion

i agree with Kojak, if i am playing hardcore i run the remington with stalked, sitrep, dead silence, amplify, and ready up, i put extended mags on as an attachment with the vmr sight, thats my favorite gun and setup for hardcore. now for core i use 2 guns depends on the map size, bigger maps i use the remington with dead eye, stalker and dead silence. i put the vmr sight on and armor piercing bullets on as an attachment. and for smaller maps i use the honey badger with the same setup as the remington. those be my favorites brother

they all got their own gaming style and im pretty sure your is not the same as well so the gun choice for you will be different man i like using m27-iar alot the reaper at time badger. i used sniper rifles only to get my ghillie suit now im all into marksman rifles which are the mk14-ebr and the mr28.... im also all over the bulldog for blitz
