This seriously needs to NOT be an annual series. If you showed me that trailer and asked me which AC it's for (even after knowing about a new one), I would've had no fucking clue.

I can say that it's a fairly worthless sneak peek if it shows literally nothing that sets it apart from the currently available titles. Sorry mang, I just can't get excited about an annual series, especially one that has so much potential. Can you imagine what this series could be if they had a three year production cycle? Or even two? I realize the games are handled by different studios, but they can't get feedback on what worked and what didn't in time to make changes to the next installment. While I imagine this will fix a lot of the issues I had with AC3, I doubt it'll fix the problems I had with IV.

yeah i hear you Raz and agree that its just a peek at the time period that it will be set it but in the same sense i agree with Empy. this series has gone downhill IMO since it became an annual release, not to mention how incredibly busy Ubisoft is with so many titles, it worries me. i'm not trying to discourage you from getting it or be a debbie downer, just giving my 2 cents.

True true guys, I must agree that if the franchise was passed on to maybe a smaller company the game would be a hell of a lot better as they would have more time but yeh it's mother fucking AC and I love that shit haha.

I do hope the assassin type gameplay does come back as that disappointed me a little on AC 4, I mean come on your a fucking pirate and that's it.

I want I to be like AC1 where your a pure fucking badman ripping shit up... But yeah I can't wait for it.

yeah i was also REALLY bummed that they just gave you the hidden blades. no initiation ceremony, no earning them just "oh here are some hidden blades for you." that honestly set the rest of the mood for me for the game.
