Astro A50 Headset - Battlefield 4 Edition

Okay, I will be taking delivery of a set of these by the end of the week hopefully.

I love my Trittons but felt it was time for an upgrade and seeing as these work on next-gen...why the heck not.

Anyone else use Astros?

Any problems updating the headset firmware?
Do you suffer from crackling with the Microsoft adapter?

I tried a Polk headset and they're good, but just didn't entice me enough to make a purchase.

a lot of people like A-50's, Buhzerk said they got uncomfortable after a while, other than that i have heard they are some of the best gaming headsets around. i think Country has them and went with the adapter, he did crackle a little from time to time but nothing major.

i actually don't use them for XB1 haha. they haven't released an update yet but they are sending out a mic boom for those that have registered the headset so that should hold me over and allow them to be useful until they release an update. i use them if i go out or walk or if i'm playing WoW listening to music.
