I'd say the best way to recruit would be xBL messages directly to guys you see in lobbies?

Not sure exactly what you mean by recruiting on websites I would have no idea where to start :s

I am reading this and then I go to the BF4 applications forum and I see tons of applications of people who are "interested" in joining yet I am not seeing anything being done to get those recruits who have filled out an application processed.

Recruiting is not an easy thing to do and it "was" something I was doing by myself and with very good results in the past. Right now most of our traffic and recruits are only coming from top100 and from no where else.

I used to hit up other forums and would post up a recruitment thread and would visit it "daily" to just either bump it up or reply to people who would post a question or comment on them.

I keep seeing "we need to recruit", "we need more members" yet I don't see some of those same people taking any kind of initiative to recruit anyone.

Read that thread and visit those links I posted in the first post of that thread. Again, recruiting is not easy, as easy as some people think it is, but with consistency and a lot of retentiveness you guys "can" bring in recruits from the outside.

a lot of people who make an application don't ever come back after we put up the canned reply some think its too much work others think they don't need to prove them selfs to anyone half the people who fill out an application we never see again after we reply intimidation maybe who knows but i think we are doing just fine
