I know this was covered in another thread that I posted and thanks to RZAraySHARP he came up with the answer.
I tweeted the guys at battlefield and they provided a link with RZA's solution to the latest update problem.

is this the same freezing since launch?
It's since update 8 buddy.the navel strike update.

Update on this - since I redownloaded the update 8 and deleted everything else it seems to have worked.i played round 10-15 games last night for it to freeze once compared to every other game

this does work i play about 13-16 games freeze maybe 3times
